For those who haven't seen it... MODULATIONS is a somewhat cohesive 'techno-documentary.' It covers the seminal heros of electronica, from Kraftwerk, to Derrick May, to Fat Boy Slim.. [err, I think.] Anyway, the film is from renowned filmmaker Iara Lee [Synthetic Pleasures] who also runs Caipirinha productions, home of Si Begg, Kerosene, Taylor Deupree, etc. It's worth it, just for a brief visual + aural history lesson. The Friday night showing starts around 7:30-8pm at the Wexner Center for the Arts film/video theatre, located at 15th & High, on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio.
