First thing you should consider - why in god's name is this on BMG Classical. Especially since the second disc is remixes by The Herbaliser and Hi-Fi Killers and someone else (truth be told, the remixes are less "techno" than some of the originals). The CD itself is pretty good. It's vaguely triphoppy, with lots of sax, lots of "foreign" (but not Swedish) texture - not essential but pretty durn good. As for Nils Petter Molvaer, I can provide some info as the exclusively classical listening parents of a friend of mine discovered this guy/guys a while back when they heard it on NPR. Their first record is electric guitar and pipe organ - quite different from Khmer, heavy on the bombast, almost like Yngwie Malmsteen but kind of neat because of the organ. Not in the style of Khmer at all. Funny this should come up - I just got the CD 2 days ago. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
