The Kompakt camp's sound rests firmly in the colognesque techno/tech-house groove with the exception of the Dettinger cd which is a little mellower than the other Kompakt releases. I suggest you check out the Koln Kompakt 1 compilation cd to get a better taste of what Kompakt has to offer. Check out the Kompakt website at: http://mad-net.de/kompakt/kompakt.html If you enjoy the Kompakt sound you may want to check out Jorg Burger's new Popular Organization label. The releases by The Modernist and Trinkwasser are wonderful.
