First let me say : yes, I agree and the song is goosebumpy gorgeous. Last night we were blowing some hot air around the lounge - make that a 4-speaker 1000 Watt system kicking out Cari Lekebusch with full intent and some moving moments with Two Lone Swordsmen. Then Tully suggested hearing some vocals and out came "Teardrop" - and *gasp*, what a surprise the soupy sound was. It's a really down, dark, narrow and almost lo-fi mix - the whole of Mezzanine (import copy). Obviously they wanted it that way - but compared to everything else we were playing last night - and we were playing loud and long - the mix lacked openness and width. Still an excellent album though. And another essential M/A would be Blue Lines, imo. I *
