I've been listening a lot to the Maurizio CD and the Basic Channel comp
(both in metal boxes from Chain Reaction, I presume). It's similar in
the overall feel to Hawtin's "Concept" stuff, perhaps a bit less
stripped down, more suggestive of actual melodies etc. Somewhat in the
same vein (though perhaps darker) is the Elin "Stutzpunkt Wien-UFO
Beobachtungen" CD, originally on Mego but reissued through OR.

Though not really 'techno', the work of Carsten Nicolai (Noto) mixes
very well in this company. He's kind of a modern-day Conrad Schnitzler
in terms of the focus on repetition and isolation of pure electronic
sound.
