to be fair, spotify and youtube weren't around when i joined OiNK. it's only recently that these services have taken off. I hardly use torrents any more, i've purchased all my needs from the past now and i continue to buy new stuff on bandcamp etc. It was the music industry that failed to respond to the internet, so don't blame OiNKers for creating something to force their hand. Rules are simple, if you download, then purchase from the artist directly. Paying the major companies for anything is even worse. the artist gets virtually none of that.
