For those interested, there's yet another Boards of Canada review (of the album) and some articles on whether drum 'n bass is really "the new jazz" or not in this week's Village Voice. The review is typically self-indulgent and longwinded, and the drum 'n bass enquêtes are also annoying to read. If I were you, I'd just skip straight over to J.
