***Yep, that album is a classic.  The way Sony treated him re:  it was horrible, so
he's been independent since.  Gerald wrote 808 States' Pacific State but they
didn't give him credit (he was working closely with the group at the time, so he
left).  He then wrote a song called Specific Hate with the same melody, etc, cept
he used a breakbeat (which they apparently abhored the usage of) cause he was none
