Rush was the shit back in the day, I don't care what anyone says. First time
I saw them was on the Hemispheres tour (oh, god...i am dating myself now) and
Geddy had that huge bank of (now coveted) Arp's, Moogs, and Prophets
onstage...I always thought it was soooo cool that he could sing, play bass

Well I am Canadian and all so of course I've seen them live no less than
5 times..... I've seen Trans Am and Badmarsh/Shri big up Rush. Geddy Lee
big up'ed us (Ninja Tune) in the last issue of Pop Smear...that was
pretty cool. ZZ Top came by our office once...that was weird. I went and
saw Slayer awhile ago and ran into a lot of people I knew trying to hide
the fact they were there...that was funny.

Oh ya...

buy the 2 6LP Fela Kuti boxsets...they're wicked and full of impossible
to find records.

buy the 3 Mutantes CDs that were just reissued. Brazilian psych-pop and
some bad ass stage outfits. We've been listening to them religiously
everyday at the office.
