Well, did anyone else make it to that show on Saturday? I thought it was truly great. Possibly the most impressive thing I found about it was that they were making great music that didn't remind me (overly) of anyone else. I'd have a real hard time pinning down particular influences of theirs. It got me all inspired, given most of my days I tow the line that there is nothing original left to do in music. Not that I'm going to head off down the path of trying to be original, because that's generally a terrible thing to have in mind while writing, but, yeah, I did find it truly inspiring. Bleh.
