"Touch Strips" should be called finger jam accumulation strips. Every vintage touch strip thingy I have ever seen has been more finger jam than strip. They just don't last. The synth sounds soooo nice (Dominion) but I veered away from purchase because of my anti touch strip prejudice. yes, they are there in my SH-01a and Arturia key controller but these are minor investements that I don't expect to last forever. I wish touch strips would go away. ps: I loved the MFB-502 drum machine... quirky thing that sounded nice.
