I picked up Landcruising from a bargain bin a few years
ago. I had never heard any CC but knew him for a legend.
I was extremely disappointed and did not bother to check
any other of his productions (e.g. "... food and
revolutionary art").

Later I joined this list and saw that quite a few people
loved Landcruising. I decided to give it another listen
and guess what? I STILL FIND IT EXTREMELY BORING! :-)
And I don't even hate guitars, so that's not it!

Well, to be fair, the first track is quite beautiful
and one of the later tracks is OK. I've never been very
good at writing about music, but if had to give one
reason for not liking this album, it's the fact that
the sounds CC uses seem very 'factory preset'-like
to me. Not owning any synts, I have no idea whether this
actually is the case but that's how it feels like to me.

On the other hand, I do recommend the last track on the
excellent album "Collapse of modern culture" by Urban
Tribe, which was produced by CC (wasn't it?).
