shadow distributed early ninja tune releases (such as "hed phone sex",
incidentally) but now ninja tune has its own north american home in
montreal, canada.

funki porcini is one guy, & although hed phone sex has to be his best
album, his other 2 full-lenghters, "love, pussycats & carwrecks" & the
all-new "the ultimately empty million pounds" are worth your money.

there's an interview with him on the ambientsoho site...
http://www.ambientsoho.com ... doesn't seem to be picking up right now
but it usually does.

my favorite quote about hed phone sex comes from some fellow who once
commented, "it's good, but it feels weird listening to this alone."
