It was a great departure from the "let's project computer generated
geometry in 3D and call it a video" trend that's been plaguing "Amp".
Otherwise, the Spike Jonez directed "Electrobank" was OK at best.
Definitely the best part of the video were the shots of the jealous
bitchy blonde gymnast on the sidelines.

Sad but true.  Even Burt Bacharach is too punk for those judges.

As for techno in the Olympics in *general* is a different story. 808 State
did a song called "Olympic State" in 1990 commissioned for the next Winter
Olympics?  

P.S. There was one skiier (sp?) from the last Winter Olympics who
was asked about his favorite music, and he listed like 5 Meat Beat
Manifesto albums, so go figure.
