What does one of the most notorious contemporary ambient producers do in
the face of a 'market' which demands releases fall in line with rigid
production categories? He plants his tongue firmly in cheek and
rhythmically lets loose the juice. G.R.R.L. is decked out head to toe in
the latest genre fashions; drum and bass, minimal techno, deep house,
techxotica and electrocynicism. What gives Terre such an antagonistic
license to ill? Quite simply G.R.R.L., skill. (Teep)
