It=E2=80=99s been part of the MIDI standard since the = beginning. In addition, I don=E2=80=99t think there=E2=80=99s much about = MPE that a three-decade-old MIDI synth wouldn=E2=80=99t be able to = handle out of the box, assuming you=E2=80=99re willing to open the = manual and make a few settings. New synths might not be marked with = =E2=80=9CMPE=E2=80=9D but you should be able to get everything working = with some reading and configuration. Brian Willoughby
