Hi Antti everything that Scott wrote can be confirmed from my side (I don't own a Matrixbrute, but I watch and try it since the first prototype I could play). The build quality of all the Arturia hardware is extremely good - and in the rare cases that they have problems Arturia react very quick and accommodating (example: when the Minibrute keyboard lost its weights). About the Matrixbrute: I don't like how they achieved the modulation matrix . It is quite unintuitive. You don't want to search the connection point of source and target and press then this button, but I want to press a targetbutton VCO2-PWM and a sourcebutton ENV2. Also I don't like that there are some parameters accessible via the matrix (and its amount value) and as dedicated knob. It can happen in manual mode quite often, that the dedicated knob shows a position, which does not reflect the true value, because the value set in the matrix acts different. Last but not least: the Matrixbrute is a synth which requires self-restraint. Having too many possibilities and to wide parameter ranges, can make the sounddesigner design always loud, harsh and blaring sounds. (It reminds me a little the orchstra musicians joke about the horn players. The conductor says "To the gentlemen in the horn section: please more dynamics" - one horn player comments to the other: "More dynamics? I can't play louder".) Florian
