Have released 'little rocks in the sun' which is an excellent 11 min. track - starts out quite pleasantly, moves into darker d'n'b-type territory before building noisily to the end (the vinyl's hexagonal which is quite cool). No great change in direction from 'on the wires...'. 2) They have also done a remix for st. etienne to be found on 'bad photographer' - very good indeed. Not a trace of St. ettienne on it (not always a good thing) but quite lovely. 3) Remix of one of the tracks on 'Root' - the Thurston Moore remix project. It's essentially an exhillerating build up of analogue noise which really only serves to contrast the more structured tracks on the album. These are few and far between but, surprisingly, Blur manage to come up with an ace little number! > 'gray body, green gun' is ace stuff! the cover art is neat > too: the two guys in the band delivering a moog rogue from their > messed up female member. can't be easy being pregnant with a > machine like that, can it? Don't start this again - it caused quite a stir with some of the humourless types on the list last time this came up (particularly those who didn't realise the girl was in the band - if my memory serves me).
