kombination research is advents own label that started out somewhere in =
middle 1998 and is around its sixth release now (KR006). all releases on =
KR are by the advent, and the style is as you probably already know =
driving minimal and electro (just to ride this new electro wave i =
presume - their electrotrack on 'elementz of life' called 'city lights' =
is a lot better than the newer stuff imo).

metalbox on the other hand is the new name of internal, which released =
advents first album 'elementz of life' (which is really good), 'shaded =
elementz' (which contains techno remixes by lekebusch, damon wild, =
p.a.s. and others) and their 'new beginnings' album too. after internal =
changed to metalbox, the advent released the 'kombination phunk' album =
which is weird to me. i heard that it contained remixes by the advent, =
plus some of their own tracks too. this was not true. it's just another =
collection. "tracks compiled by cisco ferreira and colin mcbean and =
re-edits by cisco ferreira. the advent presents kombination phunk" is =
written on the album.

* this is probably an advent-remix
** i know this is no remix because it's the same version as the one =
included on mr. beltram's novamute album
*** what kind of cat. nr. is that?

KR is the advents label.
MB i don't know who's behind.
