===sorry, sending again as it got rejected=== I have compared multiple/different TT-303 mk1 with v1 and v2 as well as mk2 (that's confusing) TT-303 (version 1) vs TT-303 (version 2) vs TT-303 mk2 (candy case), and just like TB-303s and all the other analogue clones they sound different. No two I have had come through my studio have sounded the same, even the same models. I think this is down to the analogue components, whereas all the TBoutique and TB-Airas I have played/tested/heard all sound the same to me. There is a resonance pot that can be adjusted inside the TT-303 to make it squeal more or be more soft depending on your preference, (just like on the TB-303). In regards to the original post, if Rick-Rolland could make an analogue synth they should have already done it. They could have easily made an all analogue sh-101, tb-303, tr-808 or tr-909 for next to nothing, but they didn't because maybe they just don't know how to do it unless they outsource the job to someone else.
