Xbuffy was beginning to wonder why I even bothered subscribing when the "IDM" count was nearly to 2500. Before today, my favorite hobby was checking on the size of the IDM mailbox, then deciding whether copying /dev/null over it was in order. So I poked my head in to rummage through the box and found a few good suggestions. I managed to buy the "Boards of Canada" album all by myself (actually Ear-Rational sent it to me unprompted, so I'm lying). Sometimes I feel like a recovering drug addict. I can't remember what gets me the best high, and my FSOL rack is covered with dust. The other thing I can't figure out is how I was able to purchase $400 of music a month in 1993 when I only made $600 a month. Now I'm lucky if I spend $400 a year on music I like. I see Druk (happy 30) and Duke (happy 50) are still present. We need to have an IDM-con, since it appears none of the circa-93 bands are going to ever do a decent tour again. Over and out.
