It doesn't... but it helps.

Don't you think you'll eventually tire of listening to purely electronic
music?  90% of any genre is crap.  I'm not saying I've got the world's most
eclectic tastes, but moaning about a few vocal tracks on the new Plaid
album is narrow minded IMHO.  Some people need to expand their horizons. 
Setting rules on what's permissible when listening to new music is daft.
