>I mean, if you gotta shoot up a record store, go for Sam Goody (and don't >shoot any people, just strafe their overpriced merchandise). But please >don't hurt the nice people at Other Music. I'm indifferent about the >heroin >waifs who work at Kim's. the folks at kim's are on something for sure 'cuz it's the hottest place to shop for new tunes, the prices and selection are the finest you can find in nyc (pretty much anywhere for that matter,) and the staff don't give you any of that pretentious bullshit that the folks at other music dish out. i haven't bought anything at other music since i discovered mondo kim's on st marks. i'd *highly* recommend shopping at mr kim's fine establishment, and hey, checkout those nudey dolls on the second floor, not to mention the fine selection of porno dvd's that even david kristian would be into. and i almost forgot, the manager at kim's is the coolest guy around besides hekla (of course.) say has anyone heard the new hrvatski cd? i'd have to say it's got some of the best breakbeat drum programming ever to come out of the states, and the cover artwork is brilliant. while it appears to be a compilation of sorts of older stuff, it's great that this material didn't go unreleased. my only complaint is that it didn't get released sooner. this is a necessary record for fans of the aman break. finally, how come i'm just learning about atom hearts 'naturalist' record? holly fuck. it's brilliant. too bad it's such a bitch to find. like i said about the hrvatski record, i'd have to say this has some of the best programming i've heard in ages, and it's from years ago, the best part is that it sounds like it's from the future. and it's not only full of amazing drum sounds, but also wicked melodies. enough for now. thanks, time to go workout my abs! - the hulk _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
