The final edition of Orange County's long running weekly ambient / dub / experimental electronic music weekly chillspace NIGHTNOISE will be happening on Sunday, December 20th 1998. Nightnoise has been around for over two years, bringing the O.C. faithful their weekly dose of electronic music in the comfy surroundings of the Gypsy Den cafe, located in the Lab in Costa Mesa. After a long, successful run, we at Nightnoise have decided that we have reached the limits of a weekly event, and are thus looking to expand the role of ambient and experimental music in Orange County beyond the cafe environment into 1999 and the new millennium. Sunday, December 20th 1998 NIGHTNOISE : Final Transmission - Phase One Special live performances by LEXAUNCULPT (isophlux, orange) PHONE Resident DJ's CHOWDERHEAD MR. LUMPY Plus - After the festivities, at another close location appearing live: THE SAUNDERS AFFAIR DJ XTOPHER ROBIN and some other special surprises... 7 to 11 p.m., or thereabouts.
