Couldn't agree more! I've been saving up time to write a rave review of
the new Hrvatski album (a promo copy of which was thrust into my eager
hands by Hrvatski a couple of weeks ago in New York).
It's completely fantastic - the best drum programming I've heard in
ages, with very unusual samples and live playing from all over the shop.

I'll have to review it properly soon, but I'd recommend anyone
interested in what I and some other people consider some of the best
current idm music to hop over to http://www.mp3.com/hrvatski and listen
to the quite generous number of Hrvatski mp3s he has on offer there.
Not one of them is material from the album, but they're pretty much
indicative of the style, and well worth hearing apart from the album
anyway.

Enough excessive praise... Some gratutitous self-promotion:
I was most pleased to be commended by Keith (Hrvatski) for my remix
effort - as Raven - which will be appearing on the ultra-packed Remix
Cats compilation on RKK in (hopefully September).
[Not sure that it's called Remix Cats any more, but anyway...]
If anyone's interested, you can download it from my webpage at
http://www.fourplay.com.au/sound.html

Or if you can't be bothered to go to the page itself, the URL for the
file is http://www.fourplay.com.au/Marz-remix.mp3
I'd be most grateful for any comments of any nature.
Cheers,
Peter.
