sorry for the bandwaste, but I'm making the jump to 'enlightened' status (aka getting a cd burner) and am looking for recommendations on PCI soundcards. I've looked at specs and reviews on-line, but wanted to query the list since you're all so tech-savvy (especially compared to some of the other music lists I'm on. oh, man, you should see some of the question that get posted...). naturally I'm looking to transfer vinyl over to cdr, so I'm after one with decent input jacks (preferably RCA?). any and all feedback off-list appreciated.
