The Bliss Out series has been pretty irregular in the last year or so.

The most recent one (just out) is by The Cat's Miaow. This one IS good -
kind of St Etienne-meets-Sundays sweet pop but quite intricate droney
electronics in the background.

The Piano Magic Bliss Out "Trick of the Sea" is stunning. Two long
dark, wistful ambient tracks seemingly broken into sub-tracks
(since the moods change around a lot). Nautical themes - which
means you get bonus sea noises, washes etc.

The Bright one before that was dreadful improv psych stuff (well,
it's not my thing anyway).

The Junior Varsity and Sweet Trip ones before that were pretty
lightweight drum'n'bass flavoured electropop (typical Darla fare
in general).

Favourites before that were Windy&Carl, Transient Waves, Amp
and Flowchart. All worth getting if you can still find them.

There has been some other good stuff on Darla recently. The
Tomorrowland "People Mover" 12" is excellent - deep bassy
post rock ambience much like the Transient Waves 12" on Fat
Cat (or Chessie or Monaural).

The recent Flowtron, GNAC and Exheleradeck releases all
sound promising too (chekc the website), but I haven't found
the spare money yet.
