Guess what? Another Atom Heart release is out, go figure. This one is
subtitled "Excursions in Digital Jazz", so you can guess the theme. The
theme in this case is not hit quite as often, nor as impressively, as the
one on _senor coconut_, but when it is it is quite interesting. Only
AHeart could combine bleeps and bloops with upright bass as well as this.
Plus the "extra, non-theme" tracks are better than the standard AHeart
stuff that finds it's way onto these releases. Maybe it'd be worthwhile
though to hold off for the 2nd or 3rd in this new "Don't Fuck With The
Stars!" (fun name!) series to see if the mark gets hit more? Fairly good
though, with nice cover art.
btw--I'm looking to trade _Real Intelligence 1 and 2_ (Rather Interesting
Compilations) and Swamp Terrorists 2cd "Get O." ep (w/ 2 Lassigue Bendthaus
mixes), if anyones interested.
