I gotta get you out here, man. Think about an Iowa trip -- I can get you
a spinning slot, and we can work out a plane ticket deal.

Why? Shit is happening. My buddies are setting up a series of club nights
that have been going off really tight. DJ Milton is living in town now,
and he's been helping set up ghetto nights in Cedar Rapids. September
5th is Milton, Slugo, Urban, Funk, and Deon (live PA)! Yah Boyee! Now you know
that I'm not about ghetto all the time, but there are so few chances
to see the originators of a style all in one night.

I hung with Milton at a party last night for quite a while, and I'm going
to be doing some CD mastering and duplicating for him, and maybe some
studio stuff. He is a incredibly nice guy, and straight up solid as they
come. He's in Iowa for his wife to go to college, and because living
South Side was putting the fear into his 3 daughters.

Give it a think, man and we'll chat. The nice thing about Iowa City is that
the scene is small and passionate, and hasn't yet succumbed to the kind of
big money, cracked out scene that has taken over big cities. I've been to
big parties in Chicago and elsewhere, and we don't take second place when
it comes to vibe and talent.
