I should hope so - with that boss tDR cover art too. Frighteningly,
chillingly, incredibly, it's now 10 years to the month (or thereabouts)
since that track hit number 1 in the UK. 'Exclusive American Fashion' as
the sleeve boasts... he he, yeah, if you say so.... straight outta
Sheffield!

Speaking of which....

Not heard the Deeper Signals one, but the first one is a fine compilation
of mostly drum n bassy Sheffield beats. 4 labels represented, 12 tracks in
all, track listing as follows:

EARTH
1. Babel Fish - Light Dim Increase
2. Undertow - Subliminal Seducer
3. Sequoia - Big Like Dis
4. Hoodoo - Silence

BREAKBUTT
5. Melting Pot - Adverse Reaction
6. Screwface - Hawai
7. Codebreaker - Stress
8. Phase Four - Injustice

WHOLESOME
9. Tonka Toi - Lowest Common Denominator

10 DENK
10. Bouncing Bomb - Chance
11. Twinlock - Heave
12. I Monster - Night Of The Hunted

Winston Hazel of Forgemasters is namechecked in the credits for Melting
Pot's 'Adverse Reaction' - with its reggae bassiness and sliced up vocal
sample it carries their hallmark. Also Twinlock's 'Heave' is surely a
descendant of that clonking Sweet Exorcist sound. The let down track is
Hoodoo's 'Silence' which sounds like cack old industrial guff. But a good
comp nevertheless - if anyone's got the other one, let us know worrit's
like.

Ta,

Damon.
