I tried to resist this thread... Ok, I'm only counting synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. No drums, guitars, effects, mixers, amps, patchbays, CV/gate converters, etc. Currently: Ensoniq ESQ-1 (master keyboard) Ensoniq Mirage (rack, recent addition with SoundProcess OS) Multimoog (the best tone I currently have, just amazing...) Behringer Model D Oberheim OB-8 (Encore Midi, Jurgen Haible square wave mod) Siel DK600 (needs repair) Akai MPC2000 (10-output, int. effects option) Yamaha RX7 Behringer BCR2000 knob controller (ok, it's not a synth) Previously owned and resold: Ensoniq ESQ-1 (two or three of them before the current one) Yamaha SY99 (expanded sample memory) Roland Jupiter-8 (Encore Midi) Elektron SIDstation Korg Polysix Korg EX8000 Yamaha V50 (first ever synth! I miss it...) Akai AX60 Oberheim OB-Xa (arrived from Australia damaged...<sob>...<tear>...) :-( Oberheim OB-8 (different than the current one, also arrived broken, grr!) Casio CZ-1 Future (higher priority): Synthesizers.com modular Korg Trident mkI Roland SH-3a Roland SH-7 Oberheim OB-Xa or OB-X Chroma Polaris Teisco/Kawai 100F Casio FZ series sampler (any of them, rack model if possible) Sequential Pro-One Oberheim Matrix-1000 Yamaha V50 (I'll get another one someday; they're cheap) Lower priority, maybe: Emax I rack Ensoniq ASR-10 Ensoniq TS-10 Ensoniq VFX-SD Roland MKS-70 PPG Wave Roland RS-505 Yamaha AN1x And now you have my entire past/current/future shopping list... -- - Brent Busby + =============================================== + "The introduction of a new kind of music must -- Studio -- + be shunned as imperiling the whole state, for -- Amadeus/ -- + styles of music are never disturbed without -- Keycorner -- + without affecting the most important political -- Recording -- + institutions." --Plato, "Republic" ----------------+ ===============================================
