I was delighted to get this 13 tracker just a couple of days after I ordered it and decided to stick it on and have a listen while doing the long overdue task of cleaning my room. Three days later and my room's still a mess because I just sat down and listened to the whole Album, I don't do that much, just listen. Music of this calibre is the only thing that gets my undivided attention, when all I want to do is listen. I'm not going to do the injustice of pulversing each track with my words though. If you simply like nice deep, emotional, sometimes melancholic and sometimes jazzy MUSIC and don't give a shit wheter its DnB, house or slow funky breaks then you'll adore long journey home. The hard work and sheer talent of Anthony Ewers is evident here. Yet I can't finish without mentioning the last track "Message is love", I played the snippet of this from the wesite over and over (http://www/phatmac.demon.co.uk.html) and now I'm playing the full track over and over. This is one of those special tracks that just tugs at your heartstrings with pure emotion (My only jab is I wish this one was longer) This album pisses all over "New forms" and that got awards for fecksake. Gobsmacked, and thats no exaggeration. You have been warned. Cheers John
