Greetings Current is a weekly evening of electronic music in Detroit. The 313 mailing list is having an international gathering of fellow list members this weekend in the city. Our guests from the Netherlands this week will be Otto Koppius, Hans Veneman(TV-99-AD), Wibo Lammerts, and Klaas-Jan Jongsma(Peninsula - Eevolute Musique.) Carlos Souffront is the resident at Current, and he will put his shockingly good record collection to use once again. We are looking forward to the performances from our out of town guests, it will be a good time. Next week we are going to recover from Christmas in true 313 style. Current's guest for Sunday, the 26th of December will be Rob Hood. Rob hood has brought you techno gems like Internal Empire, Waveform Transmissions Vol. 2, and Minimal Nation. Rob Hood has hang a long career in Detroit, from his early days with Underground Resistance as Rob Noise, to his early releases as the Vision, from releasing music on a number of labels such as Metroplex, Austria's Cheap imprint, and Berlin's Tresor, to running his own labels Hardwax, and M-plant. We hope you will join us for a night of brilliant music. This will be an intimate evening, please arrive early to insure entry. Current is a weekly evening of electronic music in downtown Detroit.
