and i, having an opinion, add:

first track is a snoozer. Rick Wakeman plays Mogwai. or sum'pin. stiff as 
hell and portentous up the wazoo. no great shakes. their one trick sure wore 
thin quickly. second track isn't {as} bad. arching dramatics and 
Titanic-sized emotional sweeps. but you could say the same thing about 
Danzig's "Black Aria."

not especially experimental either.
unless it would be 'experimental' to reinvent white bread.
