pickd up a copy of 'faqt', an 'electronic culture' zine by manifold records... issue is in digest format, cheap ($2) and is pretty groovy. had stuff on mix master mike, boards of canada, mbm, ogre, etc, lots of reviews and stuff. listmember kid-60666666666 gets fairly rave reviews by someone who attended the vinyl comm (who seemed to also have alot of reviews present) i quote... 'kid 606 who wigged out the crowd...' 'he was a ball of fire...' (hehehehehe) 'kid was also the most interesting to watch...' pretty dynamic guy appearently :) anyhow, well worth checking out. available at tower records, ubiquity distro, quimby's queer store and numerous establishments in pennsylvania and maryland hmmm... forgot to mention, listed under the 'experimental / noise' section...
