I haven't heard any of the early Stasis material, so I can't really
comment from that angle, but I have to say that-in my opinion-
_Connections_ is brilliant. The new sound you speak of, all processed
breaks and weird metallic sounds, can initially sound a bit harsh and
obscure what else is going on, but after a few listens it all comes
together. And the Detroit spirit-warm soul vs. cold machinery-is
definitely still there. Newskool electronics that actually deserves that
description.
