*PLANET ROCK will present =84electronic music from cologne=93 on this year=
=B4s
=84festival alternativa=93 in prague - The =84KOELNER NACHT=93 is a part of =
a
program called =84trialog=93 which is supposed to feature the =84alternative=
=93
music scene of 3 influential european cities. a not-yet-confirmed line-up
shows schlammpeiziger and fx randomiz solo but also together as holosud on a
=84experimental/new electronica=93 floor with frank dommert and other=
members of
the a-musik family djing. a =84minimal techno=93 floor brings along=
live-sets by
thomas
brinkmann and joerg burger (aka the bionaut; aka the modernist) as well as
djing from triple r. more artists are still tba.
*PLANET ROCK is introducing a monthly new series of shows/events in konstanz
under the working title [GLOBAL SOUNDS]. this program will be held in
different venues throughout the city and will mix styels and media in a
rather confrontative way. lectures, djing, live sets, films etc - everything
can happen on a night like this...
The first issue on sept 21 @ k 9 features a rare live appearance from TONY
CONRAD as well as djing and live electronics from mego youngster HECKER. the
oct 98 issue is supposed to bring the NICE + SMOOTH dj team from toronto on
the wheels of steel and an update of films on electronic music.
