I'd say 'Kind of Blue' is truly a classic - all analog sounds in a more trad jazz
stylee (hence less IDM-related), but well worth your while. A good second purchase
after 'Bitches Brew'. If the Miles Davis stuff get you going, check out the Ornette
Coleman/Pat Metheny 'Song X' collaboration, Ornette Coleman/Prime Time's 'In all
Languages', or any of the releases by the group 'Earthworks' (featuring Bill
Bruford). Jazz using electronic instrumentation that'll blow yer lid.
