.:hello:. =20 What a mad year. after plenty of personal upheavals and high highs and low lows, we're surprised to discover that we've managed to get a new record out and have done some cracking live dates.. We do confess that we're not disappointed that 2004 won't be around for much longer. That said, plenty to smile about right now. A headline slot at The Spitz tomorrow night and a new slab of vinyl doing the rounds right now, plus two dates in France in the new year and plenty of new material to come very soon. We promise it won't be so long a wait. Bring on the dancing news... =20 .:live dates:. =20 Our last gig of the year kicks off tomorrow at our favourite London venue, The Spitz. There's some bad news and good news about this. First the bad - headliner Telefon Tel Aviv has dropped out due to prior commitments. This is a pity, but it does mean that we've been bumped up to the headline slot. Added to the bill is our supremely talented labelmate, Ardisson and we'll be playing a slightly more upbeat set cultivated from the ill-fated Tube Station party, alongside some older favourites. =20 Tuesday 14th December The Spitz, Commercial St (next to Spitalfields Market) 7pm doors (we'll be on stage around 10.30) =A36 adv/=A38 on the door =20 Digitonal (Seed/Toytronic) Live Ardisson (Seed) Live Dollboy (different drummer) Live Ommm (aadadat) Live DJ Bruce McClure (seed) =20 We're planning on putting together some tours next year, but in the meantime, Samy and Andy will be travelling over to France for two dates in January. 28th sees us return to Nantes and on the 29th we'll be in St Brieuc. Full details will be posted next week on our website. =20 .:releases:. =20 The Centre Cannot Hold EP is out now on both vinyl and cd from <http://www.seedrecords.co.uk/shop>http://www.seedrecords.co.uk/shop and all good independant record shops and online retailers. Not just independent in fact, since we've also been blessed with a single of the week recommendation at HMV in Oxford St so they've got it on display there. woo us! =20 We'd like to thank a few people (properly this time...we don't have much space on our website front page!), without whom, this record wouldn't be what it is. Firstly, I'd like to send out much love to Camilla Umar and Neil Bunn whose artwork for the cover was done at very short notice and was everything we wanted and more.. Dan, Jon and all at Confetti Studios in Nottingham for the mastering job that saved the record from our tired ears and gave it a much needed boost. Kirsty Hawkshaw, Tom and Ike for their work and patience. The guys and girls at ninjatune and the big chill for their criticism and support. Our labelmates at Seed Records and the chaps that have faced the insurmountable difficulties in running a progessive label in the current industry climate and for supporting us all the way. 65daysofstatic, feedle, bloodfist jones, king seven, lj kruzer, alucidnation, ben mynott, dj central, john power, clique, bussetti and all the other artists we've worked with and around over the past 12 months. =20 A little sneaky bit of news - Andy has recently completed a solo EP of electronica material, including a track with guitars by JoeFro from 65daysofstatic. We're not sure when and where this will be out, but we'll let you know as soon as ideas become plans. =20 And just in case you're still stuck for christmas pressies, the excellent compilation Cafe Karma is out now on Park Lane recordings, featuring a track from us alongside such luminaries as Ulrich Schnauss and The Bays. =20 .:end of year chart:. =20 As is customary at this time of year, here's what's been rocking the stereo at casa Digitonal over the last 12 months: =20 top ten singles=20 1.
