The 10 releases you're seeing are the entire Studio 1 catalog - they've been repressed, they're actually about 2 years old. It is indeed similar to Basic Channel/CR/etc, but in my opinion it's a bit funkier and more quirky. All tracks on all 10 records are by Mike Ink (real name: Wolfgang Voight, right?) The assumption I've always had is that Studio 1 (actually 'Studio Eins', since it's a German label) was a reference to the famous reggae studio "Studio 1". Anybody confirm or deny that?
