When I did my Polymoog restoration in 2000 I replaced all the 180R LED resistors with 390R. I used standard dome topped 3mm LEDs in red, orange and green. Although much smaller LEDs, once the cover was put back on they looked very nice and the colour coding of the various sections worked particularly well. I replaced the tune LED with a 5mm blue LED and its 180R resistor with a 4K7. By changing the LED resistors reduced the maximum current draw by 0.25A - which given that the power supply runs way too hot normally it is reason alone to change the LEDs. Tony www.oakleysound.com
