You can hit the display/info button on the DSS remote and the normal channel
display screen will pop up.  Give it a few seconds and it will retrieve the
track name, artist name, cd name, label name, and some number that I always
assumed is the catalog number.

Some of the channels also have a neato screensaver type background :)

I'd guess it's the same for other dish networks and digital cable.

Oh, and check out MuchMusic on channel 269.  Their electronic show (RU
Receiving) is good, but only on the first friday of every month.  Still,
they roll a lot more good music into their general shows.  I've caught stuff
on Money Mark, Norman Cook, and the legion of green men on shows like the
Wedge.
