This album on Warp is slightly different if you're comparing to 'Stay Down'. After a couple listen's my initial impression is that 2LS are concentrating on a more downbeat vibe. Although i should also mention that there are a couple of atmospheric elements ("Our Kid's Berwick") much like what we heard on 'Stay Down' so the 2LS signature still remains intact. "It Hits" is quite funny actually, lots of sampled(?) lyrics that make you giggle, all the while a laid-back yet jazzy sound propels forward. So far, this full length is very comfortable on the ears, and that's what makes it so pleasing to listen to. Check out these track names and tell me they aren't hilarious.. ~ brother foster through the phones ~ confessions of a justified sinner ~ kist ~ it hits ~ cloned christ on a hover donkey (be thankful) ~ celcus speaks the truth ~ palais munich ~ our kid's berwick Pietro. ___________________________________________ p i e t r o d a s a c c o a u d i o - n i m b u s 9745 lynngrove cr, windsor, ontario, n8r 1b8, canada http://www.rain.org/~audio/grooves/ grooves experimental electronics music mag
