west coasters have to consider earthquakes as well as slippage in racks.

1)In the old days for permanent installs drilling first with a small bit =

avoid cracking and then up in size and finally a self-tapping screw =

used to stop single tube rotation.
2) I had and sold an unknown brand (too narrow for my situation) where =
the
two part end couplings had matching serrated plastic teeth so you set =
the
angle while loose and then tightened the two parts of the coupling at =
the
angle you wanted..
I thought that was a brilliant detail, but no company name was on the
coupling or tubes. If your 3d printing keep that in mind.

Rubber would make a good anti-slip material, I expect. You could take an =
old
bicycle inner tube, cut wide rings into it, thread the tube into the =
rings
and tighten the clamps over them.
