In short, the MKS-80 is a Jupiter 6 in rack format, the service manual also confirms this(but it depends a bit on what revision of MKS). The Jupiter 8 is actually quite different, you need to try it if you haven't already. I have had a couple of JP-6's, both versions of the MKS-80 with MPG-80 and a JP-8. At one time I had all three Jupiters with keyboard in my studio(4, 6, 8). I regret that I sold the JP-4. /F On 13/02/18 06:38, Matt Davey wrote: > Can anyone give a quick 2 cents opinion on Jupiter 8 VS MKS-80 (with > MPG-80)? > > i'm not a massive fan of the MKS80, so what would make the Jupiter any > better (other than the keyboard, of course) > > > > ...and of all these synths mentioned, the only one really making me wanna > go rob a bank is the Deckard's Dream.
