I design with the CUI Inc. SDS-50J, which, upon further consideration, =
wouldn=E2=80=99t be good for a DIY MIDI patch panel because they=E2=80=99r=
e PCB Mount, not panel mount. I suppose that if you =E2=80=9Cwanted=E2=80=9D=
 to design a PCB for this and solder everything, it might be workable, =
but that seems unlikely unless you want captured cables inside the rack =
that cannot be unplugged on the panel side.
