well narrow-minded? extremist? Possibly. I mean, this is just how impressed I am with the output on RI compared to the level of musical programmng/compositions of many of the artists we discuss on this list. Most of the stuff on RI has NO patience for repetition. Maybe RI impresses me sooo much cuz Uwe hardly listens to electronic music at all. Thus he avoids sounding like other artists. Think of all the Rephlex/Ae clones we've debated about for the last 2-3years????  Trust me, I love many IDM artists, but their attention
to detail can't compare IMO. I don't know, maybe I'm hearing things in RI material you are not. To each his own....
