Jean-Francois: Thanks for the heads up on ab-cd.com (didn't know about that one). you mentioned Autechre: they've got a double ep out June 7th on Warp called EP7. 10 tracker of mostly downtempo electronics, plus a couple of uptempo numbers. Good stuff, as is the new album from labelmates Plaid (Rest Proof Clockwork; 15 tracker with their usual quirky links and a bucketload of funk, most at instrumental hip hop speed, but there's an electro cut that would fit in a regular ol' electro set and a nice downtempo techno number too. The biggest thing I noticed was that there's quite a bit of scratching on this, but I don't have any info on who's doing it. Chris? Greg? Anyway, it's out June 21, check it out). Thanks.
