as always, one man's boring is another man's hypnotic.  when i gather up
the energy to put it in the player, I find I quite enjoy "music for 18
musicians."  though it does tend to wear at it's full length, and I don't
find myself listening to it often, it just seems so...conceptually
important. 

it also shames coldcut's recent attempt to adapt/mimic it, though i don't
blame them for trying.  it's good to wear your heroes on your sleeve. 

me, I think a more important non-electronic IDM record is stravinsky's
rite of spring. but then, it's almost 3 am here.
