ahahaha.

This was a small excerpt from a 100% live jam that we did on 'space
disco for fish tacos'. 'Two Silver Boxes' is myself (the fisherman) and
fellow socal dj, Jbondy. It came about one day when we were drunk and
hooked a midi cable for sync between J's z1 & my trusty mc303, Hence,
'Two Silver Boxes'. It sounded pretty good and we said, shit...why
don't we do this out once in a while for a laugh! We got the kuci gig
and asked another friend of ours, skatterbrain (aka dave), to bring his
bass station down, ran them all into a mackie and made strange noises
for an hour. The track on the Loraine comp is just that: 3 dorks, 3
keyboards and a mixer.

Since then, we've added yet another member to the collective (Knob-E,
who is skatterbrain's partner), been going into the studio once a week
and have come up with some interesting stuff (and some complete crap!),
from ambient to electro to triphop to jungle.

The fun thing about this project is that it IS completely live. Nothing
is presequenced. Just hit record on the dat and get into a groove!

We're in the process of editing down all the dat masters and will be
burning some cd's soon!

Word to the mothership,

brock.

ps. We're going to be playing tomorrow night at the Loraine party
but we might suck, so beware! :-)

pps. Socal IDMer's really shouldn't miss this party!
Shad T Scott and Lexaunculpt are always GREAT!
